Electrical Project Engineer/Senior Electrical Designer

G&W is seeking a qualified Electrical Project Engineer (or Senior Designer) to join our team and work alongside other professional and talented engineers, designers, and support staff. G&W Engineering Corporation was founded in 1992 as a full-service Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design firm. As G&W has evolved over the past 29 years, we have expanded our services to include Facilities Condition Assessments, Enclosure Consulting, Commissioning & Retro-Cx, Transportation, Municipal, and Site Civil Engineering. In addition, G&W has developed an extensive project portfolio portraying our work in 47 states on a variety of project types. G&W has grown tremendously over the years, but the one thing that has not changed is the constant drive to provide quality documents and satisfied clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
All facets of electrical design implementation of the following: lighting, lighting controls, normal power systems, standby/emergency power systems, one-line/riser diagrams, arc flash analysis, short-circuit studies, utility coordination, equipment selection and specifications, comprehensive electrical system design and layout, field investigation and observation, and construction administration.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, E.I.T./P.E. Registration (preferred).
6+ years of project experience (10+ years for non-degreed).
Demonstrated technical expertise for all major electrical systems, industry-related codes, standards, and guidelines.
Active participation in industry related organizations for technical and professional development.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word - Excel - Outlook), SKM (or EasyPower), Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
