Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Immigration Paralegal Assistant with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients and thrive in a busy environment. They should have a strong understanding of the procedural requirements for various family-based petitions and be able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced setting. The candidate must maintain high productivity, meet deadlines, and promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare family-based petitions and consular processing packets.
• Handle family petitions (I-130, I-485, I-601A, etc.) with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and schedule consular processing appointments.
• Process complex AOS, waivers, and applications before the EOIR and BIA.
• Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing with the appropriate government agency.
• Coordinate responses to RFEs (Request for Evidence).
• Communicate with clients to obtain necessary documents.
• Update our case management system with client information, case tracking, and communications.
• Keep clients informed about the progress of their cases.
• Process DACA renewal applications and U-Visa applications.

Skills

• Experience with USCIS law procedures and protocols, and the Immigration court system.
• Proficient in day-to-day operations.
• Computer literacy.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Working knowledge of case management software.
• Excellent secretarial and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and produce accurate work under pressure.

Bilingual : English/Spanish required.
