Responsibilities

This is an onsite position at our customer site: NSWCCD Detachment Puget Sound, 7131 Sealion Road, Silverdale, WA  98315-7102.

Peraton is hiring for an Intermediate Level IT Business Administrator.

This position will be responsible for the following:

• Facilitating the processing of administrative requests for equipment, network access, IT Procurement Requests, and other hardware and software approvals and authorizations.
• Handling requests from our customer’s Puget Sound Detachment as well as the Acoustic Research Detachment (ARD) in Bayview, Idaho. Application forms the position is responsible for managing include SAAR-N, NMCI orders, ITPRs, and DADMS requests.
• Occasional travel, especially in the early stage of the position, will be required to the NSWCCD headquarters in West Bethesda, MD and to the ARD in Bayview, ID.
• Other responsibilities include attending weekly coordination meetings, developing and disseminating guides for completing forms, and working with customers to resolve process issues and provide process status.

• Perform basic IT troubleshooting.  Use Admin account privileges to determine whether user problems stem from hardware, software, or network issues. 

Qualifications

2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree

• The successful candidate will be detail oriented and thorough.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be clear and prompt in both written and verbal communications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Adobe Acrobat is highly desirable. 
• Must be a US citizen and hold a DoD Top Secret Clearance

Desired:

• Navy (preferred) or other DoD experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with SAAR-N (System Authorization Access Request – Navy), ITPR (Information Technology Procurement Request), and DADMS (DON Application and Database Management System) forms and approval process is desirable.
• Network+ certification or higher

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
