Job Title: Mechanical DrafterJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating detailed plans and technical drawings, ranging from heavy sawmill equipment to machine spare parts. This position involves close collaboration with the engineering team to develop and modify designs using CAD software, such as SolidWorks. Responsibilities Create accurate and detailed assembly, sub-assembly, manufacturing, and design drawings. Ensure all designs align with project requirements and manufacturing capabilities. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and modify designs using CAD software, particularly SolidWorks. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and proposing effective solutions. Essential Skills Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for 3D modeling and design. SolidWorks: 1 year (Required). Strong technical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles, including machining and fabrication. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred in Engineering. 2+ years of experience in SolidWorks drafting/designing and 3D modeling - Mechanical.
