We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our client's team as a Back-office Medical Billing Receptionist. As a receptionist in our back-office billing department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our billing processes. You will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and providing administrative support to our billing team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Collect and verify insurance information from patients
• Accurately enter patient demographic and insurance data into our billing system
• Assist with medical coding and billing as needed
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or redirect as necessary
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred

• Familiarity with medical billing and coding processes
• Proficient in data entry and computer skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
