BAE Systems is seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 Developer to join our NATO SEASPARROW Project Office (NSPO) IT/IM Team. The ideal candidate will be capable of designing, developing, and deploying applications and services within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and ensuring their integration with other enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy solutions within the Microsoft 365 platform using, Power Platform, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Microsoft Graph API, and other relevant technologies.
- Automate tasks and processes within the Microsoft 365 environment using PowerShell scripts to improve efficiency and manageability.
- Create and maintain custom web parts, extensions, and applications to enhance user experience in SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
- Leverage Microsoft Graph API to connect and extend Microsoft 365 services and build rich, integrated applications.
- Ensure seamless integration and functionality of Microsoft 365 solutions with existing enterprise systems.
- Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and performant solutions that adhere to best practices and organizational standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications and services, implementing logging and alerting mechanisms to proactively address issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates, new features, and security advisories to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and compliant.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including system designs, deployment procedures, and best practices guides.
- Provision, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 resources and services such as Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Exchange Online.
- Provide IT support for NSPO meetings, including equipment setup and technical assistance.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills The successful candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Current Secret U.S. government clearance, in accordance with DoD 8570.1 requirements.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Microsoft 365 Developer or similar role.
- Proven track record as a Microsoft 365 Developer with hands-on experience in Power Platform, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Strong understanding of modern web development technologies and frameworks, including React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security services, compliance, and governance tools.
- Familiarity with source control systems like GIT and development tools such as Visual Studio Code.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) High, Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and DoD cloud security and compliance requirements.
- Experience in SharePoint and Teams administration, including PowerShell scripting.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - 5 years of hands-on experience administering and developing solutions in Microsoft 365.
- In-depth knowledge of core Microsoft 365 services, workloads, security, and governance.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate certification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with ITAR and Export Control regulations.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
