The Production Manager manages all activities related to Buttonwillow Juice and/or Arils Operations. The Production Manager will work closely with production supervisors, maintenance, and quality personnel in order to plan work, set targets, and ensure finished product meets quality standards.

Job Description

What our Production Manager will do:

• Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, and production costs.
• Plan and manage hourly employee teams and seasonal employees for optimal cost of production.
• Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
• Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
• Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
• Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
• Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
• Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications

Skills & experience that are necessary as our   Production Manager   will include, but not limited to:

• Ability to see the “big picture” business perspective but is willing to “roll up their sleeves” and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
• Must be self-motivated and able to achieve high impact in an unstructured environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and assistance to all levels of employees.
• Professional communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently. 
• Ability to perform efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred

Pay Range: $90,000 -$110,000.00 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
