Job Title: Remote Drupal Developer - DMV Area Resident Required (Secret Clearance Required)

Location: Remote, must reside in the DMV area for occasional in-person meetings Clearance: Active Secret clearance required

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Drupal Developer who will serve as a front-end/UI developer and maintenance engineer for a large Drupal site. The ideal candidate will work closely with the technical lead, product managers, designers, and content strategists to troubleshoot, conceptualize, and develop Drupal-based website tickets. This role requires proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience using source control tools like Git. You will be responsible for configuration, development, testing, and database and API integration activities as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications or websites using the Drupal framework.
  • Collaborate with backend and frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of code.
  • Write front and back-end code, ensuring high-performance operations of solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Write unit tests to ensure code quality and expected performance.
  • Maintain and write technical documentation for the system.
  • Engage with Agile methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

Qualifications:

  • High-level knowledge of PHP and the Drupal framework.
  • Proficiency in front-end languages such as HTML5 and CSS.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on communication and collaboration.
  • Experience with Linux and web development.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Must reside in the DMV area and be available for occasional on-site meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with database and API integration.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
