Salary: Per GTA Contract Bargaining Unit ( click here ( for contracts): GTA Report Times: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm Daily Hours: 7 Work Year: 10 Months (plus summer days) Supervisor: Bradford Malone Minimum Requirements: At least five years experience working with elementary students using technology to enhance instruction and learning. Desired Qualifications: Experience developing synchronous and asynchronous professional learning for teachers. Demonstrated expertise in using a variety of educational technology tools and software. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, students, and administrators. Ability to create and implement technology-infused curriculum. assessments and lessons. Enthusiasm for using technology to enhance teaching and learning. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing educational needs. Position Summary/Responsibilities: Professional Learning: Design and deliver high-quality professional development workshops and trainings on a variety of instructional strategies and technology tools. Provide individualized coaching and mentoring to teachers to support their growth and development. Collaborate with teachers and directors to develop and implement technology-enhanced lesson plans, curriculum and assessments. Model effective instructional practices using technology to demonstrate best practices. Technology Integration: Assist teachers in selecting and effectively using technology tools to enhance instruction. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely support to teachers and students. Collaborate with the technology department to ensure that hardware and software are functioning properly and meet the needs of the school community. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in education. Student Learning: Collaborate with teachers and directors to create engaging and innovative learning experiences that utilize technology and address the NYS CS and DF Standards. Support students in developing digital literacy skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. Promote the ethical and responsible use of technology. School Improvement: Participate in school improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of technology plans. Collaborate with administrators and other staff to promote the effective use of technology throughout the school. Stay informed about district and state technology initiatives and standards. This position will focus on supporting K-5 schools.
