JOB TITLE: Upholstery Technician II

LOCATION: Dallas, TX

PAY RATE: $26.93/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:

• Fabricating and installing upholstery, cover panels, and creating simple patterns for aircraft interiors, adhering to design specifications and engineering drawings.

• Responsibilities include working with various materials and tools, ensuring quality workmanship, and complying with safety standards.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2 years of experience with commercial sewing machines, sergers, and hand tools used in upholstery and carpet trades.

• Aerospace industry experience preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Proficiency in working with fabric, vinyl, leather, composites, and adhesives.

• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.

• Ability to climb ladders, work in restricted spaces, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift.

• Must be computer literate and proficient in English.
